Services at a Glance

  • Assessment

Individualized, customized assessments to explore strengths, needs, learning styles, and disabilities. Specializing in psycho-educational assesments that include intelligence; learning; auditory, visual, and sensory processing; executive functioning and attention; and the high end of the autism spectrum. With over 3500 assessments either completed or reviewed by me, I know how to interpet the test scores and see how the various pieces fit together

  • Consultation

With nearly 30 years of experience, and advanced degrees in psychology, special education, and naturopathy, I can help you sort and prioritize needs, then put you or your child on a path to success. • Counseling

Within short-term, solutions-focused and cognitive-behavior therapeutic models, I routinely help children, families, and young adults to get past a rough patch and on to something better. I specialize in supporting gifted, twice-exceptional, and autistic individuals who want “just a few sessions to solve a particular and immediate problem,” referring out when more help is needed. I also work more in-depth with clients who are struggling with addiction, either for substance abuse or the DSM’s soon-to-be-added process addiction of online video gaming disorder.

  • Advocacy

Not sure what the difference is between Section 504 and an IEP? Don’t know how to get qualified for testing accommodations? I can help you navigate the law, know your legal rights, and even go to the IEP or 504 meeting with you. I’ve taught the Legal Issues in Special Education classes and I’ve written 504 plans for both colleges and the workplace. Don’t go it alone, let me help.

  • Professional Speaking and Training

Large group or small, online or in person, day-long or single/keynote session, I love speaking publicly and I welcome the opportunity to help you create the training that is right for your group. Because I prefer to never give the same presentation twice, I’m happy to speak on a diverse range of topics that are within my various areas of expertise.

  • Consultation and Development in Educational Techcnologies

Schools today simply can’t meet the needs of learners who are unusually neurodivergent. Yet, it is these minds that our world so desperately needs. I believe the solution lies in a marriage between real-world, evidence-based and project-based learning and the high tech games-based world of XR. With a doctoral minor in educational technology, a history of developing and delivering an entire k-8 curriculum within thematic RPG units., and as a gamer myself, I routinely consult on projects using advancing educational technologies to rethink learning and develop games-based learning platforms and games.
